Objectives

Helping students to learn music through listening, performing, and creating activities. They will acquire more musical knowledge through reading, music appreciation and project-based learning activities.
Nurturing students to be more aware of the relationship between music and Christianity.
Our marching band, choir, string ensemble and Chinese ensemble will keep on joining different performances and competitions internally and externally to have a continuous development.
The OLE music lesson will focus on music appreciation and music application in order to emphasize the relationship between music and our daily lives.

Objectives

To develop student's perceptual abilities, with special emphasis on visual, aesthetic and arts experience;
To enable students to express personal feelings and thoughts through artistic presentations;
To develop students' visual cognition, generic skills and metacognition through art making, appreciation and criticism;
To broaden students' perspectives through exploration of the arts of diverse culture;
To cultivate students' emotions, personal refinement, morals and sense of commitment towards the nation and the world;
Acquire a foundation for pursuing education and career opportunities in the art and creative industries.
To develop students' interests in pursuing of the arts.
