  3. 透過本科教學,促進學生掌握研習本科應有的能力,包括理解、綜合、分析、應用及評鑑能力。

Objectives

Objectives for different forms of students are as follows:

S3

  1. To introduce and stimulate students' perspective and interests of economics.
  2. Basic concepts such as opportunity cost, scarcity and the scope of economics will be taught.

S4

  1. To introduce and stimulate students' perspective and interests of economics
  2. To consolidate students ability to master the knowledge and skills of examination HKDSE syllabus of Economics in 
  3. To strengthen students' ability to apply related concepts in real-life practice.

S5

  1. To consolidate students' ability to master the knowledge and skills of examination HKDSE syllabus of Economics in 
  2. To lead students being well prepared for HKDSE examination.
  3. To strengthen students' ability to apply related concepts in real-life practice.

S6

  1. To consolidate students' ability to master the knowledge and skills of examination HKDSE syllabus of Economics in S5.

目的

讓學生透過認識聖經,自己及處身的環境與及學校所營造的基督教氣氛,思考到人生與信仰的問題,找尋到耶穌作為生命 的導航者,能夠成為一個愛神愛人的人。

  2. 引導學生探索生命認識基督教信仰,繼而建立正確及積極的人生觀及良好品格,追求學習

  1. 推動基督教全人教育,使學生能以基督教的角度去理解及善用在各科中所學的知識,繼而得著正確和深入的洞見,以致能正確地詮釋所面對的世界,作一個誠實無過榮神益人的人。

Geography

Objectives

  1. Nurturing students to know different landscapes and the interactions between human beings and the environment.
  2. Nurturing students about different concepts and skills in Geography in order to foster students' analytical and problem-solving skills, and thus to make objective judgements and decisions.
  3. Helping students to develop the sense of environmental protection, treasuring resources, develop the individual values and world outlook of benefiting human beings, and understanding what sustainable development is.

History

Aims

S1 - S3

  1. to enhance and develop students' interest in studying history,
  2. to help students understand the present in the context of the past,
  3. to enrich students' knowledge of their own community and culture, as well as other major cultures of the world,
  4. to develop students' historical skills and generic skills for further studies and life situations,
  5. to nurture students to become citizens who have global perspectives, knowledge and sense of responsibility.

課程宗旨

中四至中六

本課程的宗旨是使學生能:

  1. 透過認識現今世界的源起及發展,了解自己在現今社會的定位;
  2. 在探索歷史議題的過程中,培養明辨性思考、溝通技巧及作出明智判斷能 力;
  3. 以公正持平、設身處地的態度,從不同的角度去審視過去與當代的事件;
  4. 了解本身所屬文化的特質和價值,重視人類社會共有的特質及共同面對的 問題;
  5. 培養國民意識及全球公民意識,成為本地、國家乃至世界上理智及有識見的 一員;
  6. 裝備自己,以便深入探索配合個人興趣、有助將來就業或專業進修的課題。
