The programmes of Other Learning Experiences (OLE) keep developing with a variety of activities, so as to assist students to know various values, and to broaden their horizons. There are about 50 interest groups and uniform teams in the school, which can be classified into six categories: students leaders, societies, uniform teams, interests, arts and physical education. Meanwhile, students actively participate in different activities. The number of participants is higher now than any other school year, which shows we have created a fascinating campus life.

In the aspect of student leaders, the Student Union of this year not only had three cabinets competing in the election, but also it was the first time for S5 students to form two cabinets for election. These are known as 'Maryland' and 'Unicorn'. In an intense election atmosphere, teachers and students took the 'one person one vote' approach. Finally the S6 'Superb' were elected as the sixth Student Union. This year students are full of creativity. They have held different activities and have been involved in in-school services, such as Singing Contest, Inter-class Ball Game, Super Shooting Nine Square Grid with soccer ball and volleyball, King of Basketball and Key Ring Competition. They also assisted our school to hold the first S1 Discretionary Places Allocation mock interview.

Since 2005, we have trained leaders of each uniform team to practise autonomy, in order to plan and organize joint team activities. Through different activities, learners took part in works like planning, organizing, and promoting, from which to nurture their autonomous ability, and let them bring cooperative and service spirit into full play. Activities like the Annual S1 Student Uniform Team Briefing, Sports Day Opening Ceremony, Mass Marching, Labour Fun Day and Graduation Ceremony Mass Marching have been held. Rotary International District 3450 Club and the Education Bureau invited us to participate in the activity of 'Rotary and Schools Walk Together- Youth Forum 2011', which was held in Queen Elizabeth Stadium. That day, about 70 uniform team members and teachers took part. Their main responsibilities were to lead guests into the opening ceremony and to be the service representative of the day. Not only did the learners have chances to participate in large scale service, but also gained different 'learning' and 'experience' chances. It was certainly a valuable experience.

In the aspect of service learning, S5 students learned from last year's experience of service learning, and tried to change the mode from "Direct Service" to "Indirect Service". They helped in charity sales in Service Learning Week. Altogether they raised $8215.1, and donated the money to organizations like World Vision and UNICEF (United Nations Children's Educational Fund). More than half of the donation was used to support the reconstruction work in Sichuan and address the needs of Japan after the March earthquake. We also arranged for S4 students to visit different organizations in this district, and organized service activities. Through these events, students learnt about the needs of citizens (including the elderly, the mentally retarded and the handicapped) and gave them care accordingly. In view of this, this year's S4 and S5 students set up Social Service Team, which helped to promote our school's service learning. They participated in Tuen Mun Hospital's "Joyful Sunshine Tour" and the Social Welfare Department's and Lingnan University's "United Old and Young, Life Inheritance" partnership plan.

Last but not least, as in the past, students achieved numerous outstanding awards during the participation of open competitions.

The achievement of students with outstanding performances depends on the active participation of students and the hard work of teachers.

We continue to face great challenges ahead. We are striving our best to live up to our school motto of providing quality, holistic Christian education. We pray that the Lord grants us strength and bestows us with grace.

Glory and praise be to our Lord, God Almighty!
